GOOD WAY CAR RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

TRANSPORTATION INFO:

Please call 321-313-9138 or 407-777-5437 for pick up. Once you arrive and you have retrieved your luggage from baggage claim whether terminal A, B or C please call us and you will receive the instructions to go to the designated pick-up locations, from where we will transport you to our rental facility which is a short distance away.

GENERAL RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

All Drivers must have a valid Driver's license from their country of residence. If the license is not in roman alphabet an international driver's license is required.

Additional Drivers must meet all requirements of the primary driver and must be added at the rental counter. Additional driver fee is $9.99 per day. 

Business Hours

We operate in a 24-hour basis, however, make sure to always give us call before arriving to confirm your pickup time, if this one happens after midnight.

Reservations

All reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. any reservations made within the 2 days mark are subject to availability at the moment of pick up. To cancel the reservation, you can go to the reservation tap on our website.  For all other modifications please contact the office directly at 407-777-5437.

Payment options and Deposit

A deposit is required on all rentals, All unused funds will be returned through your card processor after the vehicle is returned. It might take up to 7 business days for your card processor to process the transaction.

Deposit on a debit card is $400.

Deposit on a credit card is $250.

Debit Card Policy

Non- Florida residents might use a debit card providing flight round trip information, matching the length of rental. 

FLORIDA RESIDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE A DEBIT CARD AT PICK UP EVEN IF THE SYSTEM ACCEPTS THE PAYMENT ONLINE. 

The amounts paid online are not fully refundable in cases that you do not show up (including late arrivals) to pick up your vehicle or do not qualify for the rental. 

Underage Drivers

Drivers in the 21 – 24 age group incur an underage driver surcharge of $20 per day.

International Renters

Renters  must a have a valid driver's license issued from the country of origin; if the driver's license is not in Roman Alphabet a valid international license is required.

COVERAGE and INSURANCE

Collision damage Waiver 

CDW is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. If the renter accepts CDW, Good Way car rental waives or reduces the renter's responsibility for loss of, or damage to, the rental vehicle excluding (deductibles) depending on the type selected. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire theft vandalism flood hail or acts of God. In addition, there are other exclusions from collision damage waiver.

Third parties and unauthorized drivers are not covered by CDW. The Driver must obtain an accident report from police or CDW will be voided.

*Third party and credit card coverages are not accepted.

CDW is optional as long as declaration page of car rental coverage  is presented.

International customers must purchase CDW.

Good Way Car Rentals does not go through third party coverage.

For US residents:

Denying the company’s CDW means that the customer assumes fully financial responsibility for the vehicle. (Any damage to the vehicle will be charged to credit card on file). 

All customers understand that Good Way Car rental’s cars provide the minimum liability required by the state of Florida and any excess to that amount will be customer’s coverage responsibility or the customer’s themselves.

Cancellation Policy

We request to be notified at least 48 hours prior to pick-up time, Customers who fail to cancel their reservations at least 48 hours prior to pick time,  fail to show up for their reservation or fail to qualify for the rental will be subject to a cancellation fee. Duplicate reservations that are not picked up or not cancelled will also be subject to the cancellation fee.

Please Note we hold reservations for 2 hour from the reserved pickup time. Cancellation must be through the original booking source. 

Fuel Policy

Prepay gas option is available, customer prepay for the tank of gas in advance.

Self-refueling: Car must be returned at same level of gas it was received at pickup.

If customer does not select the prepay gas option at pick up and fails to return the car at same level of gas as it was received. Additional fees will apply ($35 to $45 per quarter of missing gas).

Cleaning Policy

Smoking/Vaping is not permitted in our non-smoking/vaping vehicles. A fee will be charged if we determine that vehicle has been smoked inside. If vehicle has any evidence of smoking, ashes, cigarette butts, burns, or if the vehicle smell smoked you will be charge with the following fees for each type of vehicle:

$350.00 Compact, Mid-Size or Full-Size

$450.00 SUV (5 passengers)
$550.00 SUV and Minivan
$600.00 Passenger Van

*Air Freshener* Any type of smell from air freshener (vent stick, canister, spray, stone, little trees or similar) is not permitted in our vehicles. A fee of $200.00 will be charged if any evidence of such or if we determine that an air freshener was used in our vehicles. If vehicle smell bad or is dirty, please let us know and we will address the issue right away.

If we determine that vehicle has been smoked inside and air freshener has been used to cover the smoked smell renter will be charge with smoking fee and use of air freshener fee.

We do not require for renters to clean or wash our vehicles before returning it. However, we recommend renters to return the vehicle in the same condition received.

A cleaning fee (valeting fee) of up to $250.00 will be charge if the vehicle requires special cleaning or anything else besides a basic outside wash or basic interior vacuum. Anything else refers to gum, mud, pet’s fur, mess or smell, bird’s poo, bug & tar etc.

Local Renters

Florida residents are required to present a major credit card that matches the renter’s name, Or provide a flight round trip ticket and a full declaration page with proof of auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage.

*Renters with a Florida license are limited to 120 miles per rental day, the renter my choose to purchase additional mileage if needed. 

If the 120 mile per rental day was exceeded without purchasing additional mileage the customer will be charged $0.45 cents per mile. 

*AGREEMENT EXTENSIONS*
I
understand that vehicle rental agreement can be extended however I must notify 7 hours before scheduled return time. I understand vehicle rental base rate might change if I change the return date & time. If renter fails to notify 7 hours before return time renter will be charge $50.00. We recommend that renter should notify extension at least 12 hours before scheduled return date & time.

I understand that Roadside assistance services is available to purchase. I understand that if I need of roadside assistance (customer’s damage related)  and did not pay for the service, I will be charge with up to $500.00.

I authorized Good Way Car Rental to charge my bank card on file for any and each following infraction traffic ticket, parking ticket, toll transaction, toll violation, missing decal/sticker or towing expenses done during this rental plus an administrative fee of $30.00 for each item processed by Good Way Car Rental for payments or responsibility transfer. 

*LATE RETURN FEE*

If you return the vehicle after the 29 minutes grace period from the time it was rented on a subsequent day you will be charge $40.00 for each extra hour, if returned after two (2) hours from the time it was rented on a subsequent day you will be charge full-day late charge and taxes may apply. Full-day late charge is $90.00. There is no grace period for rental fees, surcharges and optional equipment or protections charges.

*Returns* VEHICLES MUST BE RETURNED TO A GWCR OFFICE. IF THE VEHICLE NEEDS TO BE RETURNED AT AIRPORT OR HOTEL, PLEASE CONTACT THE COMPANY AT LEAST 12 HOURS BEFORE OF RETURN DATE AND TIME TO INFORM OF SUCH CHANGE, SUCH CHANGE MIGHT COST RENTER $40.00. IF RENTER DOES NOT INFORM THE COMPANY BEFORE 12 HOURS OF RETURN DATE AND TIME RENTER WILL BE CHARGE $60.00 PLUS PARKING FEE OR LATE FEE IF ANY APPLY. 

Mileage

Unlimited mileage is offered to non-Florida for travel within the state of Florida only. 

Geographic Restrictions

**VEHICLE MAY BE DRIVEN OR USED IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA**
I agree that vehicle will not leave the state of Florida. I agree that if rental vehicle is outside the state of FLORIDA, I will be charged a $2,000.00 out of state fee plus $.35 per out of state mile.

Renter who takes the vehicle outside the state of FLORIDA the company will contact authorities and renter will be charge for grand theft auto punishable in accordance with section 775.082, 775.083, 812.014, Florida Statutes.

One-way rentals are allowed in certain airports of Florida state for a fee of $250.

Tolls

Unlimited toll pass is offered for $13 daily or 65 a week.

If the unlimited toll pass is not selected, customer will pay at the return $8 for the day the tolls were used plus the dollar amount of the tolls consumed that day.

 The renter is responsible for the payment of all toll fines and violations and authorizes Good Way Car rental to release the rental information to violation management services for the exclusive purpose of payment or billing. 

Early Return

Renter understands and agrees that there are no refunds for early termination of the Rental agreement or early return of the vehicle. 

Rental Terms and Conditions

Please refer to the terms and conditions on the back of the Good Way Car Rental Contract. All reservations are subject to final audit and vehicle availability. Good Way Car Rental maintains the right to refuse to rent if requirements are not met. refusal is at the discretion of the counter agent.
